“MATTHEW 6: 31-34”

“MATTHEW 6: 31-34”

“Therefore, do not worry or ask yourselves: ‘What will we eat, or what will we drink, or what will we wear?’ Because people are after all this, but your heavenly Father knows that you are in need of all these things. Therefore, seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. “So, I don’t know. worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will bring its own worries. Every day has enough of its own evil! “
(Matthew 6: 31-34)

JESUS, continuing to address the issue of anxiety, guides his listeners to overcome the effect that this negative feeling has on our hearts and minds. JESUS shows that by trusting in GOD we are directed and sustained.

The LORD shows that an intimate and direct relationship with Him makes man understand that there is nothing hidden or hidden and that all our concerns are known and will be attended to. What JESUS wants is that everyone who hears his words trust and wants to be sustained.

He makes an impressive invitation: “seek first the kingdom of GOD and his justice.”
Seeking that kingdom and understanding that righteousness is living a personal experience of faith and surrender, capable of changing the life, the paths, the mind, the words of those who live it. And JESUS emphasizes a living promise: “and all these things will be added to you.” It is not GOD’s dealings with His servants, but His assurance of acting on our behalf.

Then, in GOD’s time, things will happen. Learning to live like this will make us rest in the LORD when night comes and depend on Him during the day.

Dear LORD, give me the confidence and the faith to put my provision, my burdens and my doubts in Your hands. I know that Your grace can sustain me in any circumstance. In the name of JESUS. Amen and Amen.
