“TRUE-BASED”

“Lord, let me know your ways; teach me to follow your paths! All day I wait on you; teach me to walk in your truth, for you are my God and savior!”
(Psalm 25: 4-5)

If we let the truths of the Bible fill our minds, keep our emotions and influence our behavior, GOD will reward us with abundance. If we read his Word and meditate on it, we will learn to understand his ways.

This is not something we can discover for ourselves, because the ways of GOD are different from ours: they are taller, bigger and eternal. In addition, the relationship with the LORD will become increasingly intimate, because He has decided to reveal himself to those who seek him and obey his commandments.

When we see that GOD always keeps His promises, our confidence in his faithfulness will increase. No matter what the situation, we will know that we can trust Him. Then GOD will transform our worries into a joyful expectation of what He will do next in our lives. Although difficult times await us, we will have the conviction that the LORD will use them to bring our lives well. A life based on truth is powerful.

Those who live by the Word of GOD develop spiritual discernment, which guides their decisions and protects them from deception. Because they demonstrate wisdom and holy character, the LORD makes it possible for them to greatly impact others. And because GOD knows that he can trust them, he also gives them greater responsibilities and service opportunities in his kingdom.

With all this at our disposal … wouldn’t it be wise to invest our time in the Word of GOD? The other activities that claim our attention seem very important or pleasurable, but none of them can offer us the spiritual richness of a life based on truth.

Beloved FATHER, always renew our willingness and discipline to live by Your Word and help us find the way again, when at some point we may fall into distractions that take us away from You. Thanks, FATHER. In the name of JESUS. Amen and Amen.
