“PRACTICEING GRATEFULNESS”
“I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise will always be in my mouth. I will praise the Lord with all my soul. Listen, humble people, and rejoice also.”
(Psalm 34: 1-2)
We all know that we must be grateful for our many blessings, however many times when we go through adversities that naturally detract from our trust, we can forget about the awards that GOD has placed in our lives. The scriptures tell us to be grateful, and we know from our own experience that once we begin to seriously praise GOD, our burdens and problems seem to weigh less on our shoulders.
David said: I will bless the Lord at all times; My lips will always praise him.
Many are the anguish of the righteous, but the Lord will deliver him from all of them. (Psalm 34: 1, 19). This is the power of gratitude. Not only does it help us to be free, but when we pause to thank GOD for the blessings we enjoy in our lives, we actually begin to find more blessings, even more for which to be grateful.
There is much to be grateful for, and we must focus on it every day.
Beloved LORD, the power of gratitude is truly incredible. Thank you for blessing us daily and working in our lives. We know that without you we have nothing, so we thank you for the kindness you have shown us, and for protecting us from everything that tries to harm us and get away from Your path. In the name of JESUS. Amen and Amen.
