“TIME FOR GOD”

“Wait a little for me to declare the word of God to you.”
(1 Samuel 9:27)

“Solomon said to God : Give … to your servant heart understood”.
(1 Kings 3: 9)

I’m too busy; I have no time! Many of us find it hard to find time to listen to others, to leave our own worries and be interested in our spouse, in our children, in our friends … And what about the time we devote to listening to GOD and speaking to him? Listening to GOD means fully receiving your message contained in the Bible.

It is necessary to stop To hear the word of GOD. JESUS tells us: “He who hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life; and he will not come to condemnation.”
(John 5:24)
Then, for those who have believed, listening to GOD means taking the time to read his Word. It is allowing this Word to form my thoughts.

It is trying to understand what the will of GOD is for me (Ephesians 5:17). Let us follow the example of “Mary, who, sitting at the feet of Jesus, heard her word” (Luke 10:39) Like her, taught by our MASTER, we can do the work that He wants to entrust to us.

GOD wants us to listen to him, but he also wants us to take the time to pray to him, that is, to speak to him simply. The LORD JESUS taught his disciples about “the need to pray always, and not to faint” (Luke 18: 1)

Maybe sometimes we are too busy to pray. So let’s try to modify our rhythm of life to devote time to prayer.

Beloved FATHER, thank you because we can experience peace and serenity when we have presented our requests to you. In the name of JESUS. Amen and Amen.
