“COMPASS FOR YOUR LIFE”
“My son, do not forget my law, and your heart keep my commandments; for the length of days and years of life and peace will increase you.”

If you have ever lost yourself in a forest, you know the worry, confusion and panic caused by this situation. Think now of the difference that would have made knowing that you had a compass.
Spiritually speaking, we have that compass: the Word of GOD. But it doesn’t help us at all unless we let her guide us. Sometimes, we don’t follow your address for …
- Negligence: Sometimes we are so busy in the things of life, that we forget to look at GOD’s compass to make sure we are going in the right direction.
- Pride: Often, we want to determine our destiny. But by trusting our strengths, abilities and intelligence, we plan our own route.
- Distractions: The path of obedience to GOD is not easy. In fact, sometimes it can be very difficult. Satan offers other paths that promise pleasure and comfort if we ignore the compass and follow him. Although these paths seem pleasant at the beginning, they lead to disappointment and deception.
- Difficulties: Whenever obstacles appear along the way, our natural tendency is to try to avoid them. But by not using the compass of GOD and misleading the road, we lose the blessings that He wants to give us in the rough terrain … a strong faith and a holy character.
Why
wander if the compass of the LORD is available? Let the Bible be our guide on the path of life. GOD promises to give us productive days and fruitful years if we continue on his way. He will direct every step of our path, and His peace will sustain us, even in times of difficulty.
