“BE BRAVE”

“But you have to strive and be very brave. Be very careful and act in accordance with the laws that my servant Moses gave you. Never turn away from them, neither to the right nor to the left, and so you will succeed in everything you undertake”.
(Joshua 1: 7)

The life of faith demands to be brave. Most believers do not realize it, but that is the truth. There is no other way to do it. Of course, some believers always try to find an alternative path.

Think for example of the Israelites. They thought that when they crossed the Red Sea they would have no more battles. Therefore, when they heard the report about the giants that lived in the Promised Land, they decided that they could not face the battle. Its value vanished. As a result, they took a 40-year detour through the desert.

But you know what? The Israelites could not avoid the battle. When the time came for the next generation to enter the Promised Land, the giants were still there. However, this time the Israelites armed themselves with courage to face them. Where did that value come from? From the Word of GOD.

Joshua, their leader, had followed the instructions of the LORD and kept that Word in his mind and in his heart, day and night. Joshua had meditated on her and never forgot that GOD was on her side.

If you are going to fight the good fight of faith until the end, you must do exactly what Joshua did. You will have to continually extract value from the Word of GOD. So, decide to do it. Immerse yourself in the Word and let her transform you from a coward to a victor. Then, march into battle and kill the giants in your land.

Dear LORD, give us the wisdom and firmness to follow you and wait on Your will and Your purposes. Help us to strive and be brave on this day. We trust you, we know you will be with us. In the name of JESÚS. Amen and Amen.
