“QUIETUDE BEFORE GOD”

“Stop! Recognize that I am God! The nations exalt me! The earth exalts me!”
(Psalm 46:10)

One of the most important things we can learn in our world today is how to be still. I think one of the most important reasons why many of us are exhausted and stressed is because we don’t know how to be still.

We don’t really know GOD and we don’t recognize him. And it is only by spending time to get to know Him, is that we learn to hear His gentle and sweet voice so that he can direct our paths.

We need to learn to be quiet inside and remain in that state of peace to always be ready to hear the voice of the LORD. Today many people run from one thing to another. Because their minds don’t know how to be still, they don’t know how to be still in their hearts.

If we slow down and calm our minds enough to hear the direction of the HOLY SPIRIT, we can live in a place of peace, ready to respond obediently. It is easy to see that leading a peaceful and happy life, free from exhaustion, is not so complicated as long as we remain still before GOD.

Beloved FATHER, allow us to face the speed and speed of today’s world, always take refuge in Your peace, find wisdom in Your word and find the constancy and strength to serve you, in the wonderful testimonies of goodness, love and care you offer us every day. In the name of JESÚS. Amen and Amen.
