WHAT YOU SAY HAS POWER”

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and whoever loves it will eat its fruits.”
(Proverbs 18:21)

If all our words are kind, the echoes we will hear will be too. The way we behave with others demonstrates how much we believe in GOD.

Words are a serious matter. As believers, we must seriously consider how to use them. We need words to begin to act in our favor, just as GOD does. The Bible says that the LORD uses words to call things that are not as if they were (Romans 4:17).

As the apostle Paul said in 2 Corinthians 4:13: “We have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written:” I have believed, therefore I have spoken. “We have also believed, therefore we have spoken.”

That is important. Read that verse again: “I have believed, therefore I have spoken.” There are people who speak the words, but do not have the faith to support them, and as a result they fail in their spiritual life. They did not call things that are not as if they were, but called them in the way they wanted them to be.

These are two very different aspects. The words can be the same. But just wishing and waiting will not accomplish the task; You have to believe. Start today to put both your mouth and your heart in harmony with the Word. Stop talking according to what you see and start declaring and believing the promises of GOD. Make the power of words act in your favor.

Beloved LORD, give us the wisdom to choose in each circumstance, the words necessary to convey good to all those around us. Let us also act in such a way that the power that keeps everything that comes out of our mouth is good in our lives and in the lives of those who accompany us. In the name of JESÚS. Amen and Amen.
