“RECEIVE AND DELIVER THE WORD”

“Thanks to my chains, now more than ever most of the brothers, trusting in the Lord, have dared to announce without fear the word of God.”
(Philippians 1:14)

Sometimes we suffer attacks from the enemy simply by our participation with the Word of GOD. Mark 4:17 speaks of those who listen to the Word and retain it for a while … but, since they have no root, they last a short time. When problems or persecution arise because of the Word, they immediately turn away from it.

Satan knows that the Word will strengthen us and he wants to stop it before we can spread it to others. So, it is vitally important to keep the Word in the heart and resist the devil when he comes to steal it.

When you do, the evidence that the enemy brings will actually be helpful in bringing others to the LORD. The apostle Paul said there were many things that GOD allowed to happen simply because they helped others trust in the Lord and further challenge the proclamation of the Gospel without fear.

Even during Paul’s imprisonment, his stability and ability to be used by GOD was evident. If we are going to minister to others, we will face some inconvenient circumstances. But if we keep our faith and trust in GOD, He will lead us to victory, and we will be a great encouragement to others in the process.

Beloved FATHER, we want to remain in You and Your Word every day. When the tests cross the road, we ask you to use them to strengthen us and spread Your Word to those around us. In the name of JESUS. Amen and Amen.
