“POSSIBLE FACT”

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance; against such things there is no law”.
(Galatians 5: 22-23)

When a lawyer asked JESUS ​​what the greatest commandment was, He said: “You will love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. And the second is similar: You will love your neighbor as yourself ”
(Matthew 22. 37, 39)

What an overwhelming task. It is not possible for any of us to live up to this obligation with our own strength, but the LORD has provided a way for Christians to achieve the impossible. The inner presence of the HOLY SPIRIT works to produce its fruit in us, and the first on the list is love. In fact, the other eight qualities are only descriptions of its expression.

Every time we show kindness, patience or kindness, we see the love of the LORD acting through us, especially when the other person has been unkind and does not deserve such pleasant treatment. This fruit is not produced when trying to arm ourselves with goodwill towards someone unbearable or difficult to treat.

Think of the process more like the sap that runs through the branch of a vine. The branch does not produce grapes, but the sap. Likewise, the SPIRIT flows within us producing the love of GOD in us, so that we can transmit it to Him and others.

Agape love is the reason we can love someone who treats us badly; It is GOD who does it, not us. Even the worship we give to the LORD is not something we can produce in our hearts without your help.

Although the order to love is titanic, the grace of GOD makes it possible.

Beloved LORD, may Your Grace make it possible, that we may love, and forgive, even in circumstances in which they have hurt us, trusting in Your power, that everything reaches it. In the name of JESUS. Amen and Amen.
