“YOUR GREAT PLAN”

“On the contrary, live a completely holy life, because holy is he who has called you. It is written:” Be holy, because I am holy. ”
(1 Peter 1: 15-16)

Today’s verse says: “Be holy, because I am holy.” What an overwhelming order. But that is exactly what the LORD has committed to do in our lives. Make us holy. His grand plan can be summed up in one word: Sanctification.

This is a three stage process that separates us for your purposes. The first stage occurs at the moment we are saved. When GOD declares us righteous, our position is that of saints.

The second phase is an evolution in growth, by becoming more and more in practice what we already are, saints. This process will continue our entire earthly life. The FATHER has predestined us to be conformed to the image of his SON, and He is continually working to shape our behavior, character and way of life. Although GOD is the one who makes the transformation, we have some responsibility in the process.

If we do not cooperate with Him, the world will consume us, and we will lose the great plans that GOD has for us.

The third stage of sanctification is our final perfection, when we will have absolute holiness. In our physical death, the soul and spirit are freed from sin; and in the resurrection, our bodies will be made perfect. We will be perfect, without blemish, in front of CHRIST.

If we could take a look at what the third stage is, we would never regret or complain about the difficult sanctification process we are suffering now. Our eyes would be fixed on the goal, and our greatest motivation would be to glorify GOD, submitting to Him as He transforms us.

Beloved FATHER, may we always march to the goal of glorifying you with each of our actions and words, in order to be worthy of Your presence in all areas of our lives. In the name of JESUS. Amen and Amen.
