“REASONS TO BE STRONG”

“In fact, I believe that nothing compares the current sufferings with the glory that will be revealed in us.”
(Romans 8:18)

As Christians, we like the idea of ​​sharing the Glory of CHRIST, but … what about sharing in His suffering? The sacrifice of JESUS ​​gives us the gift of eternal life and also life in abundance while we are here on this earth. But the Bible teaches that we must suffer times of trial if we are going to share in His glory … Is it worth it? According to Romans 8:18, it certainly is.

We tend to believe that we suffer due to our circumstances and if they only changed, we could act correctly. But GOD wants us to be so mature and stable that we act even when our circumstances are not good.

There are different levels of faith, and most of the time we want to use our faith to get rid of all suffering. But sometimes the plan of GOD is that we exercise a higher level of faith that will lead us through the challenges of life.

Too often we marvel at the Power of GOD and overlook His constant, strengthening and empowering power. JESUS ​​promised in John 16:33, that He will give us His peace during the trials of life and the power we need to overcome them.

Let us be encouraged today, if we are going through a time of suffering, to take it from the heart because in CHRIST, we will overcome it and share His Glory, which will be revealed.

Beloved LORD, the glory of walking by Your side will always be greater than that of any adversity. Thank you for Your Peace and Your Power to go through any suffering that crosses our path. In the name of JESUS. Amen and Amen.
